Searching through my old data, I’ve found some images that I’ve totally forgot about…They were acquired on May 22, 2018, in some very good conditions. I think I’ve decided, at some moment during the session, to test my ASI1600MM camera (usually I use the ASI174MM camera for lunar work). Interestingly, finding these images motivates me in doing more lunar work with this camera…

Following are some small stacks (500 out of 2000 frames only), and despite this, these images are perhaps some of my most natural-looking HR lunar images.

355mm Newton, ASI 1600MM, Red filter. APM 2.7X Barlow at about 4x I think. Images are crops and downsized to about 80%.
