High Resolution lunar images – August 22, 2019

Scroll down to content

Some early-morning lunar images, after a very long pause from such sessions.

The seeing was only fair most of the time, but some fine details are detectable. In order to cope with the seeing I had to use increased gain values and shorter exposures, so the noise level is rather high.

355mm F/4.5 Newtonian, Red filter, ASI 174MM.
