Another “fast-frame” deep sky imaging session. This time the subject was the central part of M 31, the Andromeda Galaxy. There is plenty of dust visible around the image.
“Only” 1470 frames were stacked, each a 3 seconds exposure. The scope was the 355mm F/4.5 Newtonian, while the sensor was the ASI 174MM with no filters.
And a possible nova variable star/cepheid, marked with two white lines:
